Types of Screening
Breast Screening
Increase your chance of detecting breast cancer at its earliest stages. DITI’s role in breast cancer and other breast disorders is to help in early detection and monitoring of abnormal physiology and establishment of risk factors for the development of cancer. When used with other procedures the best possible evaluation of breast health is made.
All women can benefit from DITI breast screening. However it is especially important for younger women (30 – 50) whose denser breast tissue makes it more difficult for mammography to be effective. Also for women of all ages who, for many reasons, are unable to undergo routine mammography. This test can provide a ‘clinical marker’ to the health professional or mammographer that a specific area of the breast needs particularly close examination.
Full Body Screening
Full body scans are useful for detecting areas of inflammation to help locate the origin of unexplained pain. As in all DITI screenings, the initial scan establishes your individual ‘fingerprint.’ On the initial scan, the thermologist looks for asymmetric patterns that may indicate a need for further diagnostic tests. The thermologist looks at follow-up scans to detect health changes over time. DITI can detect such conditions as breast disease, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, more.
Region of Interest Screening
You or your health professional specify a “region of interest” to identify or monitor health conditions in a localized area. Region of interest screenings include thyroid, facial, abdominal, legs, arms, feet, any region of interest.
